Superb French Art Deco sideboard dating from the 1930s.
This piece is distinguished by its walnut burl veneer, featuring magnificent symmetrical flame patterns, typical of the Art Deco style. The top of the sideboard has a curved credenza, originally used as a display surface for decorative objects or serving dishes.
It opens with three doors, revealing a spacious storage area, part of which has interior drawers in red-stained wood with finely chiseled brass handles.
A central pull-out drawer with an intact white marble top is also present, likely used as a serving or carving surface.
The curved console legs, covered in the same veined veneer, are typical of luxury Art Deco furniture.
The curved lines of this sideboard and the veneer make it a very elegant and unique piece of furniture.
In good condition. The veneer is well preserved, with a bright polish.
Attributed to a French Art Deco workshop of the 1930s, in the style of Jules Leleu or Maison Dominique.
