Art Deco Mermaid Shoehorn France c. 1930/1950 Charming and decorative vintage/antique shoehorn (chausse-pied) in the shape of an elegantly stylized mermaid. Origin: France (featuring the original inscription "MADE IN FRANCE" Circa 1930 – 1950 (Art Deco / Mid-Century)). Length 52 cm. Material: Early, high-quality, and compact cast resin. The material feels very solid and has a clear, metallic sound when tapped. Cream / off-white (imitates the look of classic ivory or bone). Condition: In very good vintage condition, without cracks or major damage. The original casting seam on the side attests to the authentic early production method.
