Product description
Inwald - Rudolf Schrötter - Vase - Rosaline - Glass - Modern Bohemian Molding Czech Republic - Art Deco - 1930-1940 Rosaline pressed glass vase from the Modern Bohemian Molding series, produced in 1933 by the artist Rudolf Schrötter for the Inwald glassworks in Czechia. Rudolf Schrötter (1887, Germany) was a pioneer of Czechoslovak pressed glass during the Art Deco period. He began working for Inwald in 1912 and contributed to the development of functionalism in glass design. This vase is made of thick, light pink colored glass and molded on a foot. The base is decorated with a series of curved leaves, creating a striking mise en abyme effect. Height 18.5 cm x diameter 16 cm. Very good overall condition, see photos. Careful packaging
