Beautiful Art Deco statue of Mary with apple and baby Jesus, made by the Sint Joseph (B S J) sculpture factory. Marked: Made in Holland, B S J Venlo, 1063. Buttercream-colored glossy glaze.
1930s Art Deco-style Mary with apple (rare and a highly collectible)
Height: 24 cm in good condition. Crackle consistent with age.
Two tiny (glazed) firing flaws on the apple in Mary's hand.
A small chip/flake is missing from the bottom edge, see the photo at the bottom right; the condition is barely noticeable.
