Art deco desk lamp, also called notary lamp or banker's lamp, made by the Belgian company Erpé, model No. 52, industrial design from the 1920s-30s, marked below and at the top. This fine industrial bauhaus lamp has a black cast iron tiered base, a wrought iron neck and a bakelite lampshade. ERPE stands for Establissements Ritzen & Penners and was based in Brussels. Founded in 1914 by Leon Ritzen and Frans Penners. A timeless, iconic industrial art deco desk lamp,. In perfect working and good vintage condition, no cracks, tears or chips in the bakelite lampshade, some discoloration on the shade, and some flaking of the paint on the wrought iron, but this lamp still looks great, the push button has been replaced, a new screw on the side of the shade, the original plug and brass socket, check the photos for more details! Excluding led light bulb. Dimensions: LBH 21x24x40cm. Weight: 1.423kg.
