Art deco desk lamp, also called notary lamp or banker's lamp, made by the Belgian company Erpé, model No. 52, industrial design from the 1920s-30s, marked below and at the top. This fine industrial bauhaus lamp has a black cast iron tiered base, a wrought iron neck and a bakelite lampshade. ERPE stands for Establissements Ritzen & Penners and was based in Brussels.
