Hartporzellan Rheinpfalz Germany coffee service 1960s. This service was made in the Rhineland Palatinate region (Rheinpfalz), founded in 1946, which lies in the southwest of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mainz, the state's largest city, is its capital, and the porcelain industry in Germany dates back to 1710. It comprises a coffee pot with lid, 1 milk jug and 8 round cups and saucers, all in fine white porcelain with a red rose painted on each element. The coffee pot's lid has a gold rod that lifts it when grasped, and its capacity is 2 liters. The edges are slightly serrated with a gold border. The whole set is in good condition, with few traces of wear, and the porcelain is very fine.
