Elegant pair of Art Deco bookends in patinated bronze, mounted on Portoro marble bases, France, circa 1930.
Each piece depicts a stylised rearing goat, rendered with refined lines and a strong sculptural presence characteristic of the Art Deco period. The contrast between the dark veined marble and the nuanced bronze patina enhances the overall visual impact, giving the pair a timeless decorative appeal.
