This late German Art Déco bentwood armchair is reminiscent of the classic Halaba armchairs of early Art Déco. The workmanship is excellent and the transition between the armrests and the backrest in particular is indicative of a later interpretation of the classic design. This armchair is particularly suitable as a centerpiece for an otherwise modern interior. A perfect highlight for any men's room or office. Although the upholstery has no holes or tears, it has faded to a shade of red over the years and the armrests are beautifully patinated. Due to the structural stability of this armchair, it is very suitable for a modern new fabric cover if you want a modern color scheme.
