Product description
Beautiful set of art deco bedside tables designed by Jindrich Halabala for UP Zavody. Produced in the 1930s, original model numbers visible on the back. These particular tables are in a beautiful, restored consition. We had the tables refinished with new wood finish. The wood veneer is original. The wood shows some signs of use and aging, especially on the back where there are some holes after wood damiging insected. The wood has been treated and is healthy now. There is also a defect on the top board on one of the tables (see pictures) that has been refinished.
The model is trully beautiful and shows the flowing lines of art deco design on the front doors. Original resin door handles are not matching, but this detail is hard to notice. The doors are on piano hindges, there is one shelf inside of each table. The tables are finished in walnut veneer. Trully a wonderful set.
