A magnificent collector's item from the prestigious Danish manufacturer Aegte Ildfast, an emblem of 1930s Scandinavian design. This large bronze bowl is distinguished by its elegance and craftsmanship: a body with thin, light walls resting on a sturdy 12 cm base. The piece is enhanced by two figurative handles in solid bronze, sculpted with great finesse, depicting mythological figures (Fauns). The original "Ildfast" patina offers fascinating nuances, blending a deep chocolate brown on the exterior with antique green highlights on the interior. Dimensions & Details: Bowl diameter: 23.5 cm (26 cm with handles) Height: 10 cm Base diameter: 12 cm Weight: 644 g Signature: Stamped "Ægte Ildfast Bronce" under the base. Condition: Good vintage condition with its original patina. A mark on the inside, likely due to an unsuitable cleaning product. The two beautiful handles are securely attached at the top, but are currently detached from the bowl at their lower support point. This does not affect the structural integrity or the aesthetics of the piece, as the handles remain perfectly in place. Careful shipping.
