This is an iconic L-shaped executive desk from the 200 series, designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast Furniture in the 1960s. The piece represents the top segment of Danish design and is known for its refined, organic form and architectural presence in the room.
The desk is crafted from rosewood and features a floating desktop that rests subtly elevated on the right-angled sideboard. A striking detail is the raised edge on the back and side of the top, a characteristic element of Arne Vodder. The organic, elongated wooden handles on the drawers and doors are typical of the designer's early work. The warm, brown tone of the wood emphasizes the natural grain. The furniture comes with the original Sibast Furniture label.
