Armchair set by Etienne Fermigier
Etienne Fermigier was the king of curves and undulations. Like the pioneering Pierre Paulin before him, he explored the new technologies of foam and metal construction to create sinuous, organic forms. An ambitious self-taught artist, he opened his own design studio the year he graduated, in 1957. Unfortunately, his promising career was cut short in 1973 by a car accident.
The "Onde" seat, created for Actual in 1972, perfectly illustrates his approach: an ergonomic, enveloping seat with fluid, sculptural lines.
Entirely rewoven in Casal fabric - Gédéon range - Bougeoir color.Four modules available, which can be combined to create a larger curved seat.
