Product description
Extraordinary armchair designed by Tove and Edvard Kindt Larsen for France & Daverkosen, Denmark 1950. The chair is of exceptional quality and has a very recognizable form, characteristic of Mid - Century Danish design. The oak frame has an open and organic, almost sculptural form. A special detail is the inlaid teak on the armrests. The chair has two loose still original cushions of heavy quality with which France & Daverkosen made their name. The cushions have recently been covered with new quality furniture fabric by De Ploeg. Given its age, the chair is in very good condition with slight traces of use. The chair has the matching stamps in the frame.
Dimensions are as follows: height 78 cm, width 70 cm, depth 80 cm. Seat height 41 cm.
