Product description
An important graphic work by the master of Italian advertising, Armando Testa. It features the famous subject "Marabù dell'Alto Kenya," a perfect synthesis of the geometric surrealism that made Testa a global design icon. Author: Armando Testa. 1977 Title: Marabù dell'Alto Kenya. Print: High-quality 10-color print by the historic SILK-GRAF printing house in Turin. Features: It still has the original label on the back certifying its authenticity and production technique. Dimensions: 35x35. The work is original from the period and has never been restored. It shows some signs of aging (fouling/water stains) typical of vintage canvas, visible especially on the back and in some areas of the white margin, which attest to its authenticity and age (as shown in the photo). The silkscreen color is still vivid and striking. The Printing House: Silk-Graf of Turin was the leading art silkscreen printer of its time. The fact that the label bears that address confirms that this is the original first edition and not a posthumous reprint. Canvas on plywood.
