This Mario Bellini floor lamp was designed for Artemide in the 1970s and stands as a refined example of Italian lighting design. The sculptural diffuser creates a soft, atmospheric glow that changes subtly with its position and the surrounding light.
Mario Bellini approached lighting as a spatial element rather than a fixed object. The organic shade appears to float above the slender stem, giving the lamp a light and balanced presence. Its form feels expressive without becoming dominant, making it suitable for both architectural interiors and intimate living spaces.
Artemide produced this model in Italy using a metal structure combined with a translucent synthetic diffuser. The material softens the light while preserving the lamp’s sculptural quality. This example retains its original Artemide label, confirming its authenticity.
