The Diabolo table went into production at Arco in 1990. This classic by Arnold Merckx is perfect as a dining and living table for smaller spaces. Because of the central column in the middle of the table there is no need to sacrifice legroom. The thin tabletop ensures that there is enough room for practically any chair. Both the column and the top are made of solid oak wood and stand on a marble base. Due to the intermediate leaf, the table is 53 cm wider and can accommodate a family to sit comfortably.
