RESERVED This exquisite pine wood cabinet was designed in Spain by Jordi Vilanova i Bosch in the 1970s.
Its simple, cube-like form is softened by gently rounded edges, creating a harmonious and approachable silhouette.
The cabinet's most striking feature is its unique handle design.
Jordi Vilanova i Bosch (1925-1998) was a prominent Spanish architect, interior designer, and cabinet maker. He is credited with introducing "white wood" furniture (functional, simple, and un-varnished) to Spain, inspired by his admiration for Nordic design. His work often blended functionality with artistic expression and architectural details. His designs are celebrated for their originality and timeless appeal and are represented in the Design Museum of Barcelona.
The cabinet is in excellent vintage condition.
