The ANVIA fishing rod lamp was originally designed to bridge the gap between the light source and the object. The first models appeared in the early 1950s.
Mid-century fishing rod lamp designed in 1959 by J.J.M. Hoogervorst for Anvia. Jan Hoogervorst was Anvia's chief designer and designed many iconic lamps for them.
This vintage version is from the 1980s. The lamp can be positioned horizontally at a different angle (up/down) by adjusting the rotating counterweight. The shade is also adjustable, and the entire lamp can rotate 360 degrees on its axis. This allows this pendant lamp to be maneuvered into numerous positions.
