Good day, buyers!
In this advertisement, I am offering the book *Antiscene*.
From the 1980s onwards, photographer Carla van der Marel (Wassenaar, 1962) portrayed the underground Rotterdam post-punk culture, of which she was also a part as a musician, in an unadorned manner. Her work is primarily set in dark clubs, where the stage and floor practically merge into one another. Obscure underground bands, international and local punk heroes, and their frenzied and drunken crowds are captured by her in contrasting black and white.
*Antiscene* is her first collection of photographs and poster designs. The book also contains text contributions by Rotterdam musician and journalist Mark Ritsema. Originally, the book was delivered with a CD featuring mainly unreleased material by Rotterdam bands from the 1980s and 1990s; unfortunately, this CD is missing. The text in the book is in both Dutch and English. The print run is 1,500 copies.
The condition is good. The book shows slight wear from normal use. ISBN: 978-90-72971-83-8
