An impressive authentic maritime object from the 19th century, originally used as a wooden fishing buoy/marker buoy. This type of buoy was used in the fishing and shipping industry and was built to withstand harsh conditions.
Made of solid oak and fitted with forged iron bands. Not a decorative replica, but a genuine utilitarian object with a visible and tangible history.
