Antique wooden door / architectural joinery – presumably 18th/19th century – Leuven region
Authentic old wooden door with original historical joinery, reinforced over the centuries with additional fittings, originating from the Leuven region.
The door is made of solid wood and displays a beautiful, natural patina developed through many years of use. The construction, profiles, and joints indicate traditional artisanal joinery. Various signs of use and age are clearly visible and are part of the piece's character.
Particularly suitable as an architectural decorative piece, for the restoration of a historic building, or for reuse in a contemporary interior. Was used as a tabletop on a metal frame. (Base is missing)
Condition: Authentic used condition, with wear, discoloration, minor damage, and other traces consistent with age. Not restored. See the photos for an accurate impression of the condition.
