DESCRIPTION:
A beautiful antique large wooden church candlestick. The candlestick is in the Jacobean style and made with a Barley twist. The stand dates from the 19th to early 20th century, during which time this style and technique came back into fashion. The candlestick is made entirely of oak. The candlestick stands on a sturdy, wide base, ensuring it remains stable. The candle can be placed on the large wooden point. Traces of old candle wax can still be found on the base and the head, which have now become part of the wood grain. In short, a beautiful addition to a lovely classic interior.
