Product description
An antique hand-painted votive plaque depicting the Virgin Mary with the Christ Child appearing on a cloud garland above a group of horses. Painted in oil on metal and dated 1842 at the lower right. The German inscription records a thank-you offering by Johan Mair, expressing gratitude for help received. A strong example of 19th-century Catholic folk devotion.
Presented in a simple wooden frame, added later, and ready to hang.
