Product description
Beautiful, characteristic Vietnamese portrait from the 1950s. Hand-painted with ink and watercolor on finely woven silk, which is tightly mounted on a small wooden panel (Tranh lụa).
This unique object was brought back from Indochina (Vietnam) by a French soldier at the time.
Thanks to the wooden base, the silk has remained perfectly flat and taut after approx. 75 years (no wrinkles or bumps). Ready to hang immediately!
