A very pretty antique candlestick in clear molded glass, circa 1930-1950, featuring an elegant twisted stem and a wide, slightly flared hexagonal base. The molding is clean and precise, with a pleasing interplay of volumes and a slender silhouette in the late Neoclassical style, typical of French and Central European glass production between the two World Wars.
22cm high, base approximately 10cm in diameter, and candle opening 2.5cm in diameter. Very good overall condition, with a few minor and discreet signs of age, including a small burst bubble on the stem, discreet and visible only in raking light, and a very thin white film inside the base. Approximately 400g.
