Antique Thulin Art Nouveau vases, made of matte black ceramic with a green drip glaze, circa 1910, in a typical Art Nouveau style.
These elegant ceramic vases were made by Vesuve Pottery in Thulin, Belgium. The black vases feature a beautiful drip glaze in light green and yellow, which flows down the sides. Each vase has two delicate handles. Thulin Pottery was founded in 1887 and became the Société Anonyme des Faïenceries de Thulin in 1923. Its products were sold throughout Belgium and Paris before the company was dissolved in 1973. The numbers 1023 and 1026 are marked on the base (see photos). Both vases also have an inscription with a letter, likely from the maker.
Dimensions: H 18 cm x W 9 cm x D 6 cm.
Both vases are in excellent vintage condition.
