An authentic Thai Buddha, approximately 150 years old, traditionally cast in bronze using the lost-wax technique. The statue depicts a calm meditation posture with harmonious proportions and a serene appearance.
The surface has a naturally developed patina and shows clear traces of gold leaf, particularly visible in the deeper areas such as the hair. These gold remnants were created through devotional use, during which gold leaf was applied over time.
The original core is still present, confirming the traditional craftsmanship and age. This is not a modern reproduction, but an honest antique object with visible history.
