A magnificent oil painting on canvas from the 19th-century Valencian School. This work was executed based on the aesthetic models of the famous master Cecilio Pla y Gallardo. It depicts a young lady in rich, traditional attire in a chic interior.
Artistic value: The composition stands out due to the beautiful use of color (warm earth tones and deep red) and the loose, almost impressionistic brushstrokes in the background. It is a beautiful example of Spanish Costumbrismo.
