A beautiful and sturdy antique chainmail purse from the period around 1900. At 44 grams, this purse is heavier and more solidly made than most miniature versions. Weight: 44 grams Condition: Very good. The fine chainmail (rings) are completely intact and show no holes or loose connections. Closure: The ornate frame has a sturdy snap closure that closes well. Material: Silver/Silver-plated metal / Alpaca (no hallmarks found). Magnet test performed; does not stick to the purse. Ice test: melts ice immediately and conducts cold directly. Dimensions: 7 x 7 cm
