Small games table, sewing table, coffee/tea table,
from around 1900, with a rotating tabletop
in a cloverleaf shape and four shelves that only become visible when the tabletop is slightly lifted and rotated. It then locks into place between the four shelves.
Below is a drawer with compartments for sewing supplies (or games).
It seems as if the lady of the house at the time, besides her sewing, also had time for a game of bridge or a coffee klatch.
The table is made of solid oak with a beautiful, radial oak veneer on the tabletop.
A very pretty, unusual table.
Dimensions are:
Regular: Diameter 67.5 x H 78.5 cm
Knee height 59.5 cm
As a games table: Diameter 85 x H 76 cm
The legs cannot be unscrewed.
Condition:
The table has only minimal, regular
minor wear and tear, but is generally
still in almost very good condition.
My prices are already very
low, so there isn't much room for
negotiation!
