Its elongated octagonal shape, with clean-cut edges, is that of the classic French table relish dish. An everyday bourgeois item, designed to hold appetizers, condiments, or small preparations placed in the center of the table before the meal. The decoration is a scattering of small polychrome flower bouquets — roses, cornflowers, anemones, green foliage — regularly arranged on the rim and in the center of the base, framed by a thin black line. The smooth, well-glazed ivory-white porcelain gives the piece a lightness that contrasts with its solidity. Under the base, the blue "Porcelor Céranord France" stamp attests to its French origin, produced in the 1950s-1960s. Length: approximately 25 cm. Good condition.
