Antique small Memento Mori depicting a human skull resting on a book, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. This plaster cast features realistic, meticulous, and detailed modeling. Evocative of cabinets of curiosities and vanitas paintings, it is perfect for a collection, a witch's cabinet, or as antique decor.
12cm long, 6cm wide, and 10cm high. In good overall condition considering its age, with an irregular but harmonious antique patina, some minor losses, rubbing, and discreet old imperfections without significant aesthetic impact. Approximately 500-600g.
