A genuine porcelain lace surrounds this large oval dish, forming an openwork border whose delicacy contrasts with the generous bouquet occupying its center. Two handles directly integrated into the design extend this elegant silhouette and give the whole the look of beautiful presentation pieces once reserved for meticulously set tables. On the pristine white porcelain, roses, purple flowers, small touches of blue, and delicate foliage blossom. The bouquet, generous yet not overcrowded, brings all its color to the composition. Around it, delicate gilded accents follow the contours and gently catch the light, just enough to give the piece its precious character. The craftsmanship of the border is particularly noteworthy. Regular, almost architectural, the openwork creates plays of light and shadow and transforms this utilitarian dish into a true decorative object. Fruits, pastries, or a few flowers can naturally restore its primary function. Left simply visible in a display cabinet, on a console table, or propped against a wall, its decoration is sufficient on its own. Its style and craftsmanship place it in the first half of the 20th century. The reverse bears a blue manufacturer's stamp, which we do not attribute to a specific maker due to the lack of conclusive evidence. Its beautiful proportions, approximately 30 cm in length, 20 cm in width, and 4 to 5 cm in height, enhance its presence without sacrificing the delicacy of its design. The porcelain retains a beautiful luster. The gilding shows some traces of age, natural for a piece of this era and visible in the photographs. An object designed to adorn the table as much as to serve it, from an era when even everyday items allowed themselves a touch of refinement.
