A beautiful set of 19th-century pewter tea caddies, both with characteristic ribbed walls and original lids. These caddies were used for storing tea or spices and are made entirely of solid pewter—a material favored in the 19th century for its durability and warm appearance.
The design, weight, and craftsmanship suggest a production period around 1850–1900. Both items are in neat, authentic condition with a beautiful aged patina. Ideal as a decorative accent in a country, antique, or historical interior, but also popular with collectors of antique pewter.
