Antique pewter set with bowl and jug, finely engraved, circa 19th century.
A rare, handcrafted set of pewter and copper: an artfully engraved jug with a matching bowl, both with a typical patina and beautiful relief details.
The jug (height approx. 24 cm, width including spout approx. 22 cm, opening approx. 10 cm) impresses with its baroque curve and elaborately crafted lid, crowned by a figural eagle handle – a symbol of strength and dignity. The sides feature floral engravings, framed medallions, and delicate leaf ornaments on the spout and handle.
The bowl (diameter 26 cm, height 9 cm) is made of copper with a greenish oxidized surface – a true testament to its age, further emphasizing its antique character.
