Magnificent, hand-knotted Persian rug from the renowned Sarough (Saruk) estate, in the rare XXL size of approximately 400 x 300 cm (12 square meters).
This rug is a true masterpiece of oriental weaving and an absolute statement piece for spacious living areas.
Sarough rugs are known worldwide for their exceptional durability, lustrous highland wool, and timeless elegance.

Knotting: Genuine handwork, very fine with approximately 250,000 - 300,000 knots per square meter
Material: 100% high-quality virgin wool on a durable cotton warp
Design: Classic floral medallion pattern in harmonious earth tones, deep blue, and elegant cream/ivory.
Condition:
For a 100-year-old rug, it's in fantastic condition. There are, of course, some signs of wear and stains, but it's in well-maintained condition from a clean home. After cleaning, it will shine like new again. The condition is well documented in the photos.
Why a Sarough?
Unlike cheap mass-produced rugs, this is a unique, timeless piece.
The wool is naturally dirt-repellent and will only become more beautiful with age. A rug of this size and quality often costs several thousand euros in art galleries.
Collection:
The rug can be collected in Haltern am See by arrangement. Due to its size and weight (it's a truly heavy quality!), transport by two people or a station wagon/van is recommended.
Shipping is only possible via a freight company, which should ideally be arranged by the buyer.
Costs are approximately €80-100. If you are completely unfamiliar with shipping, we are happy to assist with the arrangements.
For distances up to 80 km, the rug can be delivered for an additional fee.
Reservations are only possible with a deposit. Customers with poor ratings and those requesting excessive discounts will be ignored.
All liability for defects is excluded. No returns or warranty, as this is a private sale.
