This piece of furniture is an antique Neo-Gothic (Gothic Revival) column cabinet or sacristy cabinet made of solid oak, dating from the late 19th century (circa 1870–1900). The piece is richly decorated with fine woodcarving in the form of Gothic tracery, including pointed arches, trefoils, and rosette motifs. Additionally, the doors are fitted with heavy, characteristic iron hardware.
