Product description
Antique tray, made of majolica porcelain and finished with a small balcony and metal handles; the porcelain is hand-decorated with roses. The tray is in very good condition; it has no cracks or stains, only a small bump on the underside (see photos).
Dimensions: 37.5 cm, 22 cm deep, and 3.5 cm high.
Majolica is a type of ceramic production characterized by a porous body that is covered with a standard glaze, primarily by immersion. The name is derived from the island of Mallorca, one of the most active centers of this market in the Middle Ages, which made a strong comeback in the 19th century.
