This antique mannequin may be from the former Royal Dutch Furniture Factory H.P. Mutters & Zn N.V. in The Hague. See photos. I'm not sure if this is accurate. You'll also see the handwritten "Haaksbergen" on the mannequin. It likely originates from a monastery in that town. So much for the riddles...
With its authentic appearance, the mannequin adds a touch of ambiance to your interior and is, of course, also practical. The body rotates, and the height of the mannequin is adjustable.
The wooden frame and fabric upholstery are certainly from earlier times. The moisture stains on the fabric are also old... and the price reflects that. Consider it a beautiful piece of history in your home, and perfect for decorative purposes.
