Product description
Antique round deep serving dish in Ironstone from the Longchamp earthenware factory, "Pâquerettes" polychrome model, very rare, antique late 19th early 20th century circa 1890-1910. Magnificent romantic, bucolic Art Nouveau decor of daisies, foliage, grasses and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately hand-enhanced with fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow and brown tones. The rim is slightly scalloped. 30cm in diameter 4.9cm in height. Very good general condition for its age, note some small internal cutlery scratches and slight natural surface crazing in discreet areas. Approximately 800gr.
