Product description
A very rare, large antique lacquer box in the shape of a Burmese tortoise, adorned with typical Art Nouveau ornaments in the center. Due to its age, there are signs of wear, particularly on the neck. The tortoise's head and neck have been preserved with clear varnish to prevent further flaking.
Diameter 20 cm, height 6 cm (box only, without head). Country of origin unknown.
