This bowl produced by Keramis Boch. This factory from La Louverie in Belgium is now known as Royal Boch. The KB monogram was applied to hand-painted tin-glazed earthenware until 1920. The piece probably dates from the period 1890-1920. The dragons on the rims were inspired by examples from the late seventeenth century. In particular, pottery made after the style of De Grieksche A under the direction of Adrianus Kocx (1687-1701) used such animal shapes on rims or as handles. Hand painted very fine.
