Product description
Very large book carousel made of oak and produced by the Royal Furniture Factory H.F. Jansen & Zonen in Amsterdam. Dated circa 1890 - 1900. The cabinet rotates on the beautiful base and is mobile thanks to the four swivel casters. The book carousel is branded on the underside of the base. In beautiful condition!
The furniture, interior designs, and furnishings are quickly highly appreciated in the highest circles. For example: at the inauguration of Willem-Alexander as King of the Netherlands in the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam in April 2013, two chairs by Jansen & Zonen made of gilded beech wood served as throne seats.
