DESCRIPTION:
Very impressive and decorative French Neo-Renaissance chandelier / hall lamp from circa 1890–1910. This monumental pendant lamp has a beautiful, rich appearance with heavy, grotesque Greenman heads, graceful acanthus ornaments, and a large hammered, bowl-shaped body. The chandelier holds 6 candles or bulbs.
The lamp is crafted from copper and brass with cast decorative elements in gilded spelter/zinc alloy, entirely finished in a warm, aged patina that perfectly complements the historical appearance of the piece.
The design is strongly inspired by the French Henri II / Renaissance Revival style, which was widely used around the end of the 19th century in luxury mansions, hotels, monasteries, and stately buildings. The expressive Greenman heads and the monumental proportions, in particular, give this lamp an exceptional character.
A beautiful decorative object for a classic interior, historic building, hospitality venue, boutique hotel, or eclectic modern interior. Also very suitable for re-electrification; it can be wired for you at an additional cost.

CONDITION:
In beautiful authentic condition with normal signs of use and age appropriate for its age. 1 chain is slightly damaged, but this will not be a problem. Beautiful old patina present. (see last photos for a better idea of the condition)
