French hand-painted glass bowl “Damon Paris” – ca. 1900 – gilded
Elegant antique French glass bowl from the Belle Époque period, richly decorated with hand-painted floral garlands and refined gilding.
The bowl has a gracefully undulating shape with beautiful relief and a cut star motif in the base, creating a beautiful play of light within the glass. A subtle floral decoration in soft pastel colors with gold accents surrounds the bowl.
Signed on the underside:
“Damon – 20 Bd Malesherbes – Paris”
Referring to a Parisian supplier/shop of luxury glassware around 1900.
