Exquisite 19th-century French Sofa embodies the timeless elegance of Louis XVI-inspired Design – with perfectly balanced proportions and intricate carvings.
Handcrafted from solid wood, it is finished in a naturally aged off-white paint,
giving it the authenticity and charm of a genuine antique piece.
Reupholstered and restored in 2018 by fine Artisans.
The seat and backrest, as well as the interior and exterior, are upholstered in luxurious raspberry-colored silk damask, which boasts a rich texture and fine weave that subtly catches the light.
This refined choice of upholstery accentuates the sophistication of the frame, making the sofa a striking centerpiece in any elegant interior.
A wonderful Set of 4 Medallion Damask Chairs in exactly the same style and fabric upholstery is currently also available.
