Rare antique asparagus plate consisting of 2 parts, made of polychrome glazed majolica earthenware with a crackle effect, France, circa late 19th century, numbered 466 on the bottom.
A fantastically beautiful object, entirely in the typical sculptural and organic Art Nouveau style, high-quality craftsmanship with the greatest eye for detail; a true collector's item!
This item is in good antique condition, with only minor signs of age and use, such as small chips along the edges and a hairline crack at one of the corners of the lower plate, but generally in very good condition considering the age and the fragility of the material; check the photos for more details!
