Splendid and authentic small round tray in gilded wood, hand-painted and gilded, an iconic piece from Florence, Italy, dating from the 1950s-1960s.
This Baroque and Hollywood Regency style piece displays magnificent ornamentation. The basin is adorned with a rich, hand-painted central rosette in shades of emerald green and ruby red, surrounded by gilded scrolls, guilloché work, and volutes. The scalloped rim is highlighted by striking two-tone borders.
Its superb original patina gives it a truly unique character. An object of great elegance, ideal for presenting your glassware, serving as a chic trinket tray, or as a decorative piece on a sideboard.
