English open wine cooler on a pedestal, George III/Regency style, possibly dating from the first third of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th (Victorian-Edwardian).
The piece features:
- Original octagonal structure in very good condition, aesthetically showing signs of its age and use. It has not been restored, only maintained with colorless wax (wood) and microcrystalline wax (legs, wheels, and brass), respecting its patina, markings, and signs of age.
- Original metal inner tub, possibly zinc.
- Brass bands and fittings.
- Side handles.
- Turned central base.
- Curved legs ending in metal claws or zoomorphic feet with original wheels that still function.
