Antique English mahogany Campaign chest of drawers, circa 1820/30. This beautiful English mahogany chest of drawers consists of two sections and a total of five drawers with brass handles. The drawer interiors are lined with blue paper. The edges are finished with brass to protect the corners during transport. This type of furniture was made for easy transport, for example, by the military. It is largely made of solid mahogany, but the drawer interiors, back, and interior are made of spruce. Two English labels are affixed to the back, one of which is from Winchester. Words and letters are also carved into the bottom of the drawers. It could use some TLC but is still in good condition.
